Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 12, 2026. Last updated: May 12, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how TalentSplit, Inc. (“TalentSplit”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit talentsplit.com, request our services, apply to our residency program, or otherwise interact with us. TalentSplit is headquartered in California, and this policy is written to align with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Children\u2019s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and similar privacy laws that may apply to you.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information we collect automatically, and information we receive from third parties.
- Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, company, role, resume or work history, portfolio links, references, application responses, payment details for services you purchase, and any other information you submit through forms, chat, email, or applications.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, and similar usage data collected through cookies and analytics tools (including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager).
- Information from third parties: employment verification data, identity verification data, background check results where you have consented, and information from clients or partners who refer you to our program.
How we use information
- To deliver and improve our services, including residency placements, supervised projects, training, and client engagements.
- To evaluate applicants and match residents to client work.
- To communicate with you about your application, your services, billing, and important updates.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share limited information with service providers and clients only as needed to deliver our services, and we contractually require those parties to protect it.
Junior residents and applicants under 18
Some of our junior residents are under 18. We handle their information with extra care. We require verifiable parental or legal guardian consent before we collect personal information from a known minor under 13, consistent with COPPA. For applicants between 13 and 17, we require parental or guardian acknowledgment before placement, supervise their work assignments, and limit the information we collect to what is needed for evaluation, placement, payroll, and safety.
Parents and guardians of a minor resident may review the information we hold about that minor, request corrections, and request deletion by contacting us at the address below. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 within the meaning of the CCPA / CPRA.
California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. TalentSplit does not sell personal information, and we treat cross-context behavioral advertising as a sharing activity that you can opt out of.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information to purposes a reasonable consumer would expect.
- Receive equal service and pricing when you exercise these rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in the Contact section below. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with appropriate proof of authorization.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and measure performance. We use Google Analytics for aggregate usage measurement. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Some site features may not work without them.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and notify affected individuals when required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, our technology, or applicable law change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated to active applicants, residents, and clients.
